|MONDAY MICHIRU NEWSLETTER -- August 2007 (Part 1)|
|12/12/2018 6:59:43 AM - How's everyone doing? Staying cool in the summer heat I hope and taking some time for r&r. Since finishing my Japan tour I've shifted my gear to low and sneaking in a day here and there to hit the beach or some other summer fun in our area. |
Just a quickie on various news:
MY EVER CHANGING MOODS TOUR BLOG AND PICTURES -- First of all, thanks SO much to those who came out to the various performances. For those who are interested I've uploaded pictures -- you just have to log in to check it out (Note: I've made this into a Log-in viewing, as with some of my other stuff, which means there's no purchase necessary -- logging in just puts you onto my e-mail list):
And the tour blog. Warning: It's LONG! Hopefully insightful. This is exclusive to my "Flow" participants, but if you are not already a participant, you can check out the first part (again, just log in):
I actually took videos during the tour which I will be hopefully editing in the next couple weeks, as well as a couple performances which we taped; these will be made available exclusively for my "Flow" participants.
RECENT RELEASES AND FUTURE RELEASES -- As many of you know, the Jazztronik album Grand Blue is already out, just released last month. This one features the collaboration song "Mista Swing" which has gotten a lot of thumbs up from people, a fun little Latin-jazz-club number.
The Kim Bianca debut single "You Mean the World" which I remixed will be released September 5th. Kim kindly came down to one of my Club Ikspiari gigs, which was really sweet of her; very nice girl. The manager was bubbling that the remix has gotten a lot of good response, which was good to hear.
The Antonio Carlos Jobim 80th Birthdate Anniversary compilation album put together by producer Toru Hashimoto will be seeing its release on September 19th. I covered the classic "No More Blues."
